Today the hot water system at my dad’s house broke and after making a few phone calls, having a couple of quotes done in house I found Trevor and his team who were not only easy to deal with, sent them pics of what was broken and they gave me a quote over the phone and you can tell they knew what they were talking about even without seeing the problem in person. Trevor gave us great advice and didn’t try to oversell but more so educate us on what we needed for the house. My problem was I had no hot water in my apartment. I called and Sydney Plumbing Hot Water came over the next morning. The plumber was friendly on the phone and in person too. He was open and honest and showed me what was wrong, explained everything to me and answered all my questions. That's not the case with other companies who didn't show and explain things to me and also who didn't answer all my questions or gave me vague answers.Sydney Plumbing Hot Water had a look around and after a few moments discovered my problem was a cooked thermostat on my hot water system. He told me how much it would cost and asked if I wanted to change it straightaway, which I agreed to. He charged me an extremely reasonable price. (Yesterday another plumber (from Service Today) came over and they wanted to charge me literally DOUBLE or more than what I was charged by Sydney Plumbing Hot Water! It was a price difference of hundreds of dollars.)Sydney Plumbing Hot Water changed my thermostat efficiently, took the time to test it, showed me my old thermostat and explained to me what was wrong with it and was overall very professional and helpful. Unlike Service Today who just told me to change everything without much explanation and who also wanted me to change my entire hot water system (they said it would cost me minimum $1600), but Sydney Plumbing Hot Water told me changing my hot water system was unnecessary because it's still relatively new system and working fine.In short, I highly recommend Sydney Plumbing Hot Water. I had a great experience and in fact I volunteered to review them without them asking. Quality service for a reasonable price. I'll definitely use them again if any future problems arise.Update: Sydney Plumbing Hot Water also recommended to me a great electrician. The electrician came and fixed another issue I had (circuit breaker needed to be replaced) and the electrician did it for a great price. And the electrician was also very professional and helpful. I'm really pleased with Sydney Plumbing Hot Water and the electrician! I'll definitely make sure to use Sydney Plumbing Hot Water again.
